Nuts About Ice Cream is 20 years old this year. So look for special spring and summer promotions this year! Time flies when you are having so much fun. Yet there are so many people who haven't tried our products. Ask those who have how good it is. In fact we have raised the Bar so high that our regular customers are just not satisfied going anywhere else. We continually get complements like 'the Best Ice Cream anywhere' to 'the best counter persons (our kids)' and 'cleanest ice cream store'. So if you don't make it here this year all we can say is 'OH WELL'.

But we forewarned if you come here - be ready to be blown away! We only use all Natural Ingridients at any cost and will not compromise our standards. Even if it means we have to charge more. Remember you only go around once.

JULY 2007

This summer is just passing us by a little too fast. Our son graduated from the Pennoni Honors School at Drexel University with a degree in Bio-Medical Engineering and will head to Florida at the end of the month to start Medical School at NSU (Nova South Eastern University). Most of our regular customers know that he has scooped and made ice cream since he could stand on a milk crate. Come get waited upon, by him while it is affordable. Once he is a DO who knows !

Another major happening this summer is the skyrocketing cost of all natural ice cream ingredients. Dairy (milk and cream) products are up by 20% and exotic spices and purees are already on another planet. Saffron went from 18 to 48 $ an ounce. Through thick and thin it is our commitment to quality that will not change because our customers would prefer a higher price instead of a lower quality.

Again we were featured in newspaper articles and various BLOGs on the net. Serious ice cream lovers know this is the place to come.

We are back from a well earned family trip to where both I and my wife Ro were born. Exotic Africa

East Africa that is !

We decided to take this opportunity to take both our children on an amazing trip tracing back their family's migration from India to Africa. Both Ro and I came to the USA from Uganda where our grand parents had migrated to after they left India in the early 1900's. We visited with family who we hadn't met before and some we had not seen for 30 + years. Our travels took us to Nairobi, Kenya and then to the Sarengeti National Park and the Ngorongoro Crater in Tanzania where we spent our Christmas day. We then returned to Kenya's Indian Ocean Coast at Mombasa.

During our 4 weeks out of the country we were always on the lookout for ice cream flavors and ideas. You should see some of our new creations this summer.
